I’m Taylor Van Arsdale ~ G.C.’s Original Check-In Gal ~ and that’s me in
front of the original Sunset Grill (the one Don Henley memorialized in his famous song)
standing right next door to the world famous Hollywood Guitar Center ~ home of the
RockWalk and some of the craziest stories in the music biz. Today I do music PR, host a
radio show on Indie100.com and work with a multitude of up-and-coming musicians and
artists, but when I need gear ~ there’s only one place I go.

Tailfish PR deals with music industry talent, bands, and music gear and products. We liaise between labels and/or musicians and the media to get album reviews, profiles of bands in online and print magazines, reviews of live shows and so on. Our focus is split between generating press and airplay to acquiring film and television licensing rights for our client's songs. We are interested in great music-regardless of the genre.  About Taylor Van Arsdale Taylor Van Arsdale got her start in music as the "Original Check-In Gal" at the Guitar Center Hollywood; then moved to film and television at HBO Pictures and NBC Universal. She has worked as the Managing Editor of two print magazines, writes a column for the Santa Monica Daily Press and continues to explore creative and artistic endeavors. Her long-standing film industry relationships and passion for music made for a natural transition to music licensing and PR.
